Kudan Japanese Language Institute is one of the Japanese language schools in Japan where multinational students are enrolled. In addition to learning Japanese, we would like to increase and reach out to more people in the world by providing the opportunity to learn about Japanese culture and the country's history through activities that can only be experienced in Japan. Further, we aim to furnish a place to deepen international exchange for students coming from all over the world.

Location and Access

This Japanese language school is conveniently located just a 4-minute walk from JR Suidobashi Station East Exit and a 5-minute walk from Toei Mita Line Suidobashi Station A2 Exit. It is at the heart of Tokyo, 20 minutes to Shinjuku and 15 minutes to Akihabara.

Comprehensive Japanese Course

Acquire all four skills in a balanced manner. In advanced levels, focus on expressing opinions on social issues and news topics.

Kanji Class: Part of the comprehensive Japanese course. Composed of seven levels according to proficiency, with promotion tests every month.

Japanese Conversation Course

A practical program focused on conversation skills, covering expressions useful in everyday life and at work.

Study Periods and Enrollment Timing

Study periods range from a minimum of 2 weeks to a maximum of 2 years (student visa). Enrollment in January, April, July, and October. Short-term students may enroll every Monday if their level matches.

3. Cultural Experiences and International Exchange

Extracurricular Activities: Tea ceremony, kimono dressing, calligraphy, sushi making, wagashi making, Mt. Takao hiking, and other cultural experiences based in Tokyo

Travel: Twice a year, we organize day trips around Tokyo such as to Nikko and Nagatoro.

Exchange: Regular Japanese and multilingual exchange events in cooperation with Tokyo universities and Japanese volunteer groups

4. Student Life and Career Support

Study & Life Support: Thorough support for Japanese learning and daily life. Multilingual staff available.

Visa Support: Assistance with obtaining student visas. Students with visas may work part-time up to 28 hours a week.

Accommodations: Homestay, share house, guest house, apartment introductions.

Career Support: Support for higher education and employment (document checks, interview guidance, job introductions, etc.).
