Policy for Handling COVID-19

We are implementing the following measures to minimize the spread of COVID-19.

  1. Conduct lessons both at school and via Zoom in consideration of students’ health conditions and circumstances.
  2. Require all students and teachers to wear a mask at all times and ask visitors to the school to do the same.
  3. Encourage basic preventive measures against infection such as gargling, hand washing, cough etiquette, adequate food and sleep, etc.

  4. Placement of alcohol disinfectant and hand soap, and increased cleaning and disinfection of the school, including sterilization with alcohol.
  5. Daily temperature checks, ventilation of classrooms, spaced seating arrangements, and distribution of face shields (wearing them is optional)
  6. Ask that students avoid eating at school

  7. If students have symptoms such as a fever or cough, students will be advised and instructed to convalesce at home (taking online classes if possible) or seek medical attention.
  8. If student is suspected of having an infection, the student will be prohibited from coming to school and will be instructed to take online classes at home and get medical attention.
  9. Students who have been infected with COVID-19 and those who have been in close contact will be prohibited from coming to school for 2 weeks after the Public Health Center’s determination. These students will take online classes at home if they are feeling well enough to do so.
  10. If a student tests positive for COVID-19, all classes will be moved online for one week after we learn of the diagnosis.
  11. When a positive case of COVID-19 is identified, we will work to prevent the spread of the virus in cooperation with the Public Health Center and other relevant organizations.
  12. If a student does not cooperate with the policies listed above, the student may be prohibited from entering the school grounds or may be expelled.

Our entire faculty and staff are committed to taking measures against infection so that all our students can participate in school activities with peace of mind.
